We are in immediate need of a receptionist and book keeper.
- RECEPTIONIST
- About: The face of the company, the receptionist will be first person customers see when they enter the office. The ideal candidate will be expected to greet customers cheerfully in person and over the phone. Maintain office cleanliness and organization of resources with team members.
- Skills & Equipment: You will be expected to know how to use a a mutli-line phone system, fax, scanner, copier and other general office equipment. On a daily basis, you will use Microsoft products Outlook, Word and Excel. Computer proficiency required (cell phones skills are not needed, and cell phones will not be used for tasks)
- Hours: You will be expected to dress professionally and show up every weekday from 9am-5pm.
- Pace: During tax season, the pace is very quick and can get very stressful. The ideal candidate will be able to multi-task and handle stressful situations, such as impatient clients and providing bad news (owing taxes.) On a daily basis,
- you will call people to pick up or bring in tax data and ensure that data is received and delivered timely. You will also be expected to help insure deadlines are met.
- Plus: Accounting, Payroll, and QuickBooks experience a plus
- Pay: Starting pay is $16 per hour, with a pay raise after 2 weeks if work/progress is satisfactory. Pay commensurate with experience.
- BOOKKEEPER
- About: More than just entering numbers, you will be the primary point of contact for clients you manage. You will be expected to request and ensure data is received.
- Skills & Equipment: QuickBooks and Accounting experience and education are required. You will be expected to know how to use a a mutli-line phone system, fax, scanner, copier and other general office equipment. On a daily basis, you will use Microsoft products Outlook, Word and Excel
- Hours: You will be expected to dress professionally and show up every weekday from 9am-5pm.
